Hurricane Irene

Hurricane Irene ruined what would have been our second ever camping trip! Boooo. All we could do was hunker down and ride out the storm with the rest of Brooklyn! Not knowing how long it would take us to get outside again, we thought it'd be a good idea to squeeze out every last drop of energy by taking Remi to McCarren Park for a little exercise!

Daddy showed him how well he can work the pole. (Sorry Daddy, too easy)

And Remi was eager to give it a shot!

And of course the day wouldn't be complete without a full motion rendition of WOTB!

Then Hurricane Irene came and went and we were all fine and dandy. Issy and Remi headed down to the water to make sure the Williamsburg Bridge was a-o-k and to toss some celebratory rocks into the water!

It seemed like the biggest bummer of the whole event for Remi was the fact that La Esquina was closed and he couldn't get inside. How could they?!?!
