We had a wonderful reason to drive all the way down to Virginia last weekend! It was Great Uncle Tom and Cousin Sean's dual party for their respective retirement/high school graduation!
Daddy got to see awesome uncle Darryl who you may remember from Remi's first trip to Montana and more importantly... his first
HORSEBACK RIDE!
Remi was in the car for 5.5 hours on the trip down, so we can't blame him for being a little antsy when we tried to get him to pose for some photos. Nevertheless, here he is with the soon-to-be graduate -- Cousin Sean!
AND he got to hang out with Cousin Mercedes!
Tom let him wear his Grizzly hat for a bit while Daddy tried to feed him some delicious cake.
Even Great Grandfather made the trip out from Helena! Great Grandma Joanie was there too (although sadly, not pictured)
After the party we got to pitstop at the hotel before heading to Sean's graduation ceremony. Later that night, Remi slept in a big giant queen sized bed all by himself. SO COOL!
After a quick break, we headed out to the graduation. Remi had never seen so much grass in his entire life. There was lots of time for running around.
And sitting!
Then it came time to watch the graduates!
Go Sean!
Followed of course by more running and climbing in the grass. (While Mommy and Daddy spent HOURS looking for our lost car keys. Thankfully, when we were just about to give up, some AMAZING stranger returned them to the hood of the car)
Meanwhile...........MORE GRASS!
The next day, after a delicious brunch at Aunt Bonnie's - we met up with Uncle Tom and Connie before heading back on the road. Tom showed off his sweet ride!
Connie showed Remi how the horn worked!
