Remi and the Cube

Remi's all-time favorite toy right now is this Playskool shape sorter. We call it "The Cube." Emily and Tim (now parents to Zooey) brought it over for Remi a little while ago and he has played with it NONSTOP ever since. Possibly the best part ever -- it doesn't even make noise!!!

As you can see by these pajama-clad pics, it's usually the first thing he wants to play with in the morning after breakfast!
"Shapes!!" he says!
He mastered it in about a week. Now he can always find the correct holes for his shapes...
And open it all by himself to get the shapes back out!
Sometime he puts the wrong shape on a hole, just so he can say "Nooooo."
Showoff.
Shape wizard!
Even when Remi is playing with other toys (like these puzzles) - he always has a shape nearby. Usually the circle...his favorite.
Rectangle!! So not only is he a skilled puzzle hole-in-one-ologist he can also tell you the name and color of every shape.
Examining his work...
Even when surrounded by super fun trucks (that he also loves!) it's so hard to resist the powers of the shape cube.
