Brooklyn Bridge Park

Happy Labor Day weekend!!! We decided to celebrate by taking Remi to the brand new Brooklyn Bridge Park - which was SOOOOOOO cool. Before we started playing we sat on the pier watching helicopters fly over the water and had some lunch.

We didn't bring a bathing suit or towels, so we didn't go into the water park area, but we did get to spend some time in the massive sand area. ((Remi's shirt is one of Greta's homemade masterpieces!))
Remi sat on a giant chicken.

Then he took off and made his way to some super neat wooden houses.
He was in wooden house heaven.
Just his size!
Then he played with this sand shoveling contraption for a bit.
It was kind of like being in a Super Mario game. There was the water world, sand world and swing world! We had an extra fun time on the swings!
