Let the adventuring begin!! Remi and the gang (us) went on our first outing to check out the
Lawdog Saloon in Elliston, Montana which we had heard so much about!
We were greeting by the owner of the saloon (who's name I can't remember right now) but he was awesome in every way! He wanted to take Remi's picture for their website. Here's one with, and one without Mommy!
Now let's talk about the food. Remi ordered the "Double Bigfoot Burger" -- 2 lbs of Montana beef (2!) with bacon and cheese. He ate the whole thing all by himself, and washed it down with a nice cold beer. ((I hear that our Parents of the Year Awards have been mailed out as I type this!)
JUST KIDDING! Here's the entire gang that met us for our first lunch out on the town. Remi (and Adrian's) cousins Joyce and Bill Clausen, Great Aunt Carina and Great Uncle Darrell, Grandma Doris, Grandpa John and Daddy! We ate 2 2lb burgers. Mmmmmm.
Remi's favorite part of the afternoon was getting to play with cups. Cups!!!!

After lunch we headed to the Avon Cafe for some delicious pie!
...and Daddy got to kick back on some hay with Remi.
"Hay!"
Then Remi got to see his first real train! "Choo-choo!!!" He said!
Then he and Daddy got to look extra adorable and give us this little slice of Americana...
And it was like that that our Adventures in the West kicked off!!!!!
