Fantabulous Memorial Day Weekend!

Remi decided to kick off an awesome Memorial Day weekend - sporting some fancy shades while he had some lunch. (Totally his idea.)

Then right around dinner time... 3.5 Modell's came over for a visit!!! Eden insisted on holding "Baby" Remi on her lap.
After a little play time in the Firehouse, we headed over to Relish for some Mac n' Cheese! Yum! Eden hangs out under the umbrella!
While Remi reprimands the waiter for slow service...

There were even some puppies parked outside!

And then, as if that wasn't cute enough... THESE GUYS were up for adoption on Bedford.

Remi's first Virus... AND a Weekend at Grammy's!!

Remi came home from his 1 year checkup (photos to come!) - where everything went OUTSTANDINGLY! (Seriously, have you ever seen a baby NOT cry AT ALL when they had blood taken? We have. Even the doctor was in awe... Sadly, the next day he woke up with his first fever at a whopping 103. Ayup, the doctor's office not only let Remi leave with his first lollypop, but also his first virus. Boo.

Anyhoo - he was down, but not out. Since Daddy was heading to VA for his annual golf tournament, Remi and Mommy headed to the jerz for some Grammy healing. Here's the poor little sick nugget in the car. Totally pathetic, and still completely adorable.

Remi also got to hang out with his old pal Aunt Olivia!
After just one day in the fresh country air (and with the help of a little Grammy time and chicken soup) -- Remi started to feel a little better. He even felt the wind in his hair while he cruised around with his new walker from Great Aunt Ene!!! COMPLETE WITH NO PANTS!
Everything is better without pants.

And with that... the color has returned to his little sick face!

Remi had SUCH a good time seeing everyone at his party that he and Greta thought it would be an awesome idea to hand-paint (literally!) every single Thank You Card!! AND they got to give Greta's homemade birthday paints a try!

He was very excited about this idea! (And equally excited about his super cool birthday smock!! Thanks Greta!)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PEANUT!!

Remi had THE BEST FIRST BIRTHDAY EVER!!!!!!!! Sadly, I don't have a trillion more pictures of everyone as I was busy enjoying the amazing day. If you have more pics, send them my way and I'll update!!

He started the morning off in Brooklyn with a few tricks on his skateboard.
Then it was off to a BEAUTIFUL trip to the Birenz's Belmar Beach Bungalow! It's party time!!!!

After he woke up from his nap (looking a little confused) Remi got to hang out in his very own Remi-sized chair by the pool!
And later that evening, Remi got to spend some QT with the person who appears to be his favoritest person ever. CARLl! CAAAAAAAARL! (As Remi loves to say!)


I think the feeling is mutual. :)
Sunday morning we woke up to another SPECTACULAR day! Beach time!
And while we were there - there was some cool kite festival!
As Remi would say, "Cooooooool!"

Remi tried to help Jessi heal faster (from a little unexpected surgery) using his masterful powers of cuteness.
